The sponsorship programme: Buddy programme
During the first semester from September to December, as an ESIEE-IT student, you can sponsor an international Erasmus+ exchange student in our school. This involves getting in touch with the student before they arrive in France, helping them to acclimatise and familiarise themselves with their new environment upon their arrival at ESIEE-IT and during their stay.
Advantages of participating in the Buddy programme:
It is first of all a beautiful life experience through an encounter. It also allows you to develop your network, and improve your linguistic skills in another language if your exchanges are in a foreign language. You also improve your open-mindedness, while discovering another European culture.
And finally, if you yourself have an international mobility plan, you can prepare for it through the experience of the person you are sponsoring. Especially if you have the chance to meet a student from a partner university to which you wish to go.
Criteria for becoming a sponsor
You must still be a student on the Pontoise campus in the following school year; you want to help people discover your culture and pass it on to them; and you are curious to discover another culture.
