Erasmus+ programme

Students in the engineering* programme and certain Master programmes at ESIEE-IT can choose to complete a semester of study abroad, in one of our partner establishments.  

• Spain:

- Facultad de Ingenería - Universidad de Deusto  

• Finland: Lapland University of Applied Sciences, Tornio

• Italy: Politecnico di Bari - Bari 
• Portugal: Universidade Fernando Pessoa, Porto 
• Romania: Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers - University Politehnica of Bucarest 
• Sweden: Université de Skövde, Skövde 

New partnerships are being developed, particularly in Western Europe.  

Students are exempt from tuition fees. In addition, students can benefit from an Erasmus+ grant to help them fund their mobility programme. The amount varies according to the cost of living in the host country and ranges between €170 and €270 per month. For example, a student going to Finland will have a bigger grant than the one going to Romania because the cost of living is higher. 

Here is the amount of grants awarded to mobility participants, in agreement with the European Commission:

Students must bear the costs related to transport, accommodation, day-to-day living and expenses on site. It should be noted that additional aid can be obtained for people with disabilities, long-term illness or serious illness. 

Being selected after submitting your application. The recruitment campaign begins in January. 

As part of a work-study contract, the company must give its consent. Please note that during the mobility period, the employment contract is “put on hold” and compensation is no longer paid by the company. The contract will resume on the return of the work-study student. The work-study calendar is reworked into 3 or 4 successive months of mobility and a period in a business before or after the mobility programme, for a duration of 35 weeks. 

A good level of English is required (B2 level) for study mobility in English. Erasmus+ gives participants free access to an online English course platform (OLS).

Erasmus+ is a programme of the European Commission. Its objective is to promote exchanges and the mobility of students in higher education. It provides financial support, and helps organisations work within the framework of international partnerships. Exchanges can be exchanges of students and trainers.
